Accomplishments

2019 -

Nov 10  - Leo earns his first Major in AKC Lure Coursing going first out of 16 open whippets for 5 pts under Judge Dean Wright!   We are super      proud!

Nov 17th - Leo earned another 2 points in AKC Lure Coursing for a total of 8 pts in 3 weekends.

Nov 29th - Leo goes BOB at the 2019 AWC First Southern Regional AKC Lure Coursing Trial - defeating 52

whippets and earning his second 5 pt. Major!   (thanks to Judges Ian Davies and Robert Frost!

Dec 28th and 29th - Leo attends the NLCC - placing 5th the first day out of 22 open dogs and then placing 3rd on Sunday to finish his AKC Field Championship title!

 

Dec 31st - Leo Goes BOB over 44 whippets his first time out as a Special in Limestone, TN.

2020 -

Feb 22nd - Started the year off with a bang!   Best of Breed his first trial out in Limestone, TN.  

Sept. 6th - First weekend out after the COVID-19 "7 month break" - Leo goes BOB on Sunday defeating 27 whippets earning 5pts towards his LCX!

Oct 3rd - On a quickly planned trip to Florida, Leo goes BOB and Best In Field!  for 5 points!

Oct 4th - Leo goes back to Back BOB's - what a weekend!   

2021 -

Jan 30-31 - Leo goes Back to Back 1st place in Specials and a BOB on Sunday!   

May 1 - Leo goes BOB for a 5 point major in Dendron, VA (SHOT) earning him his LCX Title!    

May 22 - Leo goes BOB for a 5 point major in Reidsville, NC (MAHA) defeating 24 whippets.

July 16 - Leo goes Best Performance Male at the AWC MidWest Specialty.  

Aug. 21 - Leo goes Best of Breed at the CHAMP ASFA trials defeating 23 whippets.

Sept. 4th - Our first AKC trial of the fall.... Leo goes BOB at the Kominek Farm/AKC GASM trial!!! (22 whippets)

Oct. 2nd - Another BOB for Leo at the GOGLCA trial in Brooksville FL!

Oct 31st - Leo Goes WHIPPET BEST OF BREED IN EVENT at the 2021 AKC National Lure Coursing Championships!!!!  So proud of this boy - a 3rd Generation Cali Whippet to accomplish this honor!   

2022 - 

April 2nd - Leo Places FIRST in his Open stake at the 2022 AWC National ASFA trial

April 3rd - Leo Places 5th in his large Specials stake at the 2022 AWC National AKC LC trial

April 8th - Leo WINS the Lure Coursing Class at the 2022 AWC National show!!!  - what an amazing week for boy!

Oct. 22nd - Leo earns the top set of ARX points at the GRR CWA meet in Hull, GA. - 4 points

Oct. 23rd - Leo earns the top set of ARX points at the GRR CWA meet in Hull, GA - one weekend and 8 points!!  What a great start!

2023 -

May 6th - Leo earns the last points needed for his ASFA FCh title in Leesburg, VA

May 14th - Leo goes WD/BOW and BOBOH for a 5 point Major in the Conformation ring at the MAHA Hound Specialty Show under Whippet Judge Justin Dannenbring.

Sept. 16th - Leo goes WD/BOS and BOBOH for a 3 point Major in the Conformation ring at the Forsyth Kennel Club Show.  

Dec 3rd -  Leo picked up 2 ARX points at the MAWRA CWA meet in Virginia  - he was 7th of 22 whippets and placed in the Match both days (4th on Sat and 3rd on Sun)

2024 - 

March 16th - Leo goes BOB in an entry of 29 whippets at MAHA's AKC Lure Coursing Trial for a huge 5 point Major!!
